Massage icing pack until icing feels smooth and consistent inside. To start the flow of icing, cut a small opening at one of the corners of the icing pouch. Be sure not to cut the opening too large. Your icing is now ready to squeeze. Standard House Assembly: Gently break apart the pieces and lay them on the table. Starting with the front piece, ice (2) strips on the back of the cookie. Press side wall up against the front cookie. Repeat with the other two pieces. Ice the peaks of the house. Gently lay down the roof pieces. Hold in place until secure. Then ice the middle where the roof pieces meet. Gabled House Assembly: Gently break apart the pieces and lay them on the table. Starting with the front piece, ice (2) strips on the back of the cookie. Press side wall up against the front cookie. Repeat with the other two pieces. Ice the peaks of the house. Gently lay down the roof pieces. Hold in place until secure. Then ice the middle where the roof pieces meet. A-Frame House Assembly: Gently break apart the pieces and lay them on the table. Repeat with the other two pieces. Ice the tops of all the cookies. Gently lay down the roof pieces. Hold in place until secure. Repeat with the other two pieces. Ice the peaks and tops of all the cookies. Gently lay down the peaked roof pieces, then ice the middle where the peaks meet. Hold in place until secure. Place remaining roof piece on top. Decorate your cookie village! Add snow and icicles to the roof with icing. Carefully sprinkle the popping candy on desired areas. Add in your scene setters to make this your own unique Holiday scene. Scene setters. Have an adult help you cut on the dotted lines. Fold back each side of the base on the solid lines. Place scene setter elements around your cookie house to make a Holiday scene! If needed, use a dab of icing on the bottom to help your scene setter stick to the surface.
