Safe Handling Instructions: This product was prepared from inspected and passed meat and/or poultry. Keep refrigerated or frozen. Thaw in refrigerator or microwave. Keep raw meat and poultry separate from other foods. Wash working surfaces (including cutting boards), utensils, and hands after touching raw meat or poultry. Cook thoroughly. Keep hot foods hot. Refrigerate leftovers immediately or discard. Place sausage in a lightly greased skillet. Cook over medium-high heat until browned, turning often. Reduce heat to medium-low and add 1/2 cup of water to skillet. Cover and simmer for approximately 12 minutes. Internal temperature must reach 160 degrees F. Keep refrigerated. To open, place package black side up (flat side). Then cut along the edge of the sausages on three sides. Open the flap and remove sausage.
