Neyer's Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon Red Wine displays a combination of cassis, earth, and black pit fruit, like plum or peach. Here we have the additional intrigue of vanilla bean against a backdrop of black olive, making for a wine that almost calls out for a flavorful cut of grilled meat. The tannins are already soft so we expect the wine to be enjoyable in another year or two, and then capable of maturing nicely for a decade or more after that. Neyers Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon grapes were harvested from the Ron Smith Vineyard in Oak Knoll. This wine received 92 points for the 2017 vintage from James Suckling and 93 points for the 2017 vintage from Wine Enthusiast. This bottle of wine has 14.2% alcohol by volume.
